ELISABETH TEIGE
Lyric Dramatic Soprano
Originally from Ålesund, Norway, Elisabeth has established herself as one of the most interesting young dramatic sopranos of her generation. She is known for her warm, beautiful timbre, intuitive musicality and compelling stage presence.
Elisabeth will have her debut as Elektra at the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet on September 12th. It is the 2023 production of Ole Anders Tandberg, and music director Edward Gardner is conducting.
She will also return to Bayreuth during their 150 year jubilee this summer as Senta in Der fliegende Holländer!
During the next seasons Elisabeth can be seen and heard in places such as Bayerische Staatsoper, Bayreuther Festspiele, Teatro Real, Gran teatre del Liceu, Nationale Opera & Ballet, Deutsche Oper Berlin and The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet.
